Your Plastic Solutions: an advice agent for 3D printing materials

In build

Published · Updated

Your Plastic Solutions in Terborg makes plastic parts for businesses, using several techniques including 3D printing. Choosing the right material for a printed part is where many buyers get stuck: the options differ in strength, temperature resistance and finish, and the right choice depends on what the part has to do. For the new 3D printing landing page, BeeManaged is building an agent that asks what the part is for, advises on material and technique and prepares a complete quote request for the team. The agent is built on the foundation BeeManaged developed for vanRaam. Reusing a proven agent keeps the setup short, so the budget goes into tuning the advice to Your Plastic Solutions' own materials and questions. The agent goes live together with the new landing page, after which BeeManaged calibrates it on real conversations and reports monthly.

The question

Buyers of a 3D printed part usually know what the part has to do, and rarely which material or printing technique gets them there. That question often ends in an email exchange before a quote can even be made.

What we are building

  • An advice agent on the new 3D printing landing page.
  • Advice on material and technique based on what the part has to do.
  • A complete quote request handed to the Your Plastic Solutions team.
  • A dashboard with every conversation and a monthly report.

Why reuse matters

The agent starts from the foundation we built for vanRaam: the conversation engine, the dashboard and the reporting. Only the knowledge and the conversation flows are specific to Your Plastic Solutions. That makes a first agent affordable for a mid-sized manufacturer.

How we manage it

After launch we spend the first months calibrating on real conversations: sharpening answers, adding new questions and improving the handover to a quote request.

What would your agent do?

Tell us which conversations take up your team's time. We come back with a scope, a timeline and a price.
