Gelre Metaal: an advice agent for custom metalwork
Published · Updated
Gelre Metaalwaren in Groenlo makes custom metal products for businesses, from welded parts to light steel structures. Custom work starts with a question that is hard to put into a web form: the buyer knows the problem, and the metalworker needs the details to say what is possible and what it will cost. BeeManaged is building an advice agent that holds that first conversation. It asks about the application and the requirements, explains what Gelre Metaal can make and prepares a complete request for the team, so the first reply can be a real answer instead of a list of questions. Like every BeeManaged agent, it runs as a managed service: after launch we read the conversations, adjust the advice and report every month on what buyers ask for.
The question
Custom metalwork rarely fits a standard form. Buyers describe what they need in their own words, and the team needs the right details before it can say what is possible.
What we are building
- An advice agent that holds the first conversation about a custom job.
- Questions about the application and the requirements, in plain language.
- A complete request handed to the Gelre Metaal team.
- A dashboard with every conversation and a monthly report.
How we manage it
After launch we read the conversations, adjust the advice where buyers get stuck and report the questions that come up most.
