Okke Amerongen is an experienced Digital Marketing manager with 20 years of leadership experience in the Utility and e-commerce industry. He lives in Utrecht and is in the process of making his 20-year-old house more sustainable. Measures so far include: solar panels, rainwater collection for flushing toilets and water for the washing machine and soon also a home battery. On the wish list are underfloor heating and a heat pump and disconnect the home from the gas grid.
Joost Nijensteen
Concept & Battery Technology
Joost is an entrepreneur in heart and soul and started his first company to make it easier to Saving subscriptions when he was still a student. Joost is co-owner of Places.nl, a platform where SMEs can make themselves easier to be found. He is always full of ideas and is the spiritual father of Beemanaged.
In addition to online marketing, Joost has a passion for installation technology. He has installed 20 kWh of home batteries, over 30 solar panels on his roof and an emergency power supply. His meter cupboard resembles a showroom and it is equipped with the latest techniques.
Roy Rutten
Technology & Innovation
Roy is a software developer with more than 10 years of experience. He has a passion for writing code and a broad knowledge of IT. He sees it as a fun challenge to develop an innovative solution for the current energy transition.
In the future, Roy wants to make his own new-build home even more sustainable. A combination of solar panels, heat pump and a home battery will have to make his home completely gas-free.
Peter Davelaar

Peter is an entrepreneur with a strong passion for online marketing. With more than 15 years of experience in online marketing, as CEO of Places.nl, he likes to help entrepreneurs to become more visible and accessible. In addition, he has founded an E-commerce company called Next day Online with various appealing webshop titles aimed at the kitchen industry and in the field of sustainability.
His hobby is trading on the financial markets and the model of battery storage and energy prices on an hourly basis was therefore a feast of recognition. Peter has switched to a fully dynamic contract since the beginning of 2023.
